Active business establishments

Methodology:
This graph shows the total number of active business establishments by number of employees for the Census metropolitan area (CMA) of Montréal, for the City of Montréal and for the borough of Ville-Marie. The data is presented on an annual basis.

This graph also portrays the yearly percent change in the number of active business establishments according to the number of employees between 2002 and 2007.

Finally this graph gives the weight each group of business establishments occupies out of the total number of business establishments. The user can either select the desired year or launch the automatic scrolling of the past 6 years.

Data is provided by the Business register of Statistics Canada.
